I have a major confession to make. I am a Trekkie. I keep asking myself isn’t that a little outdated? Shouldn’t I be into Twilight or something a little more recent? Because what I mean when I say Trekkie is not what some people my age would think I mean as in The Next Generation–quite the opposite.
‘Twas the new movie that done it to me. How could you not be after seeing that? So I will read the books and watch the old TV show but never buy any–ANY!– Star Trek action figures because when you cross that line you know you’ll never get married.
I wanted my next post after the last one to be a comparative review of writing for Suite 101 vs. Associated Content but Associated Content has not reviewed and published my content that I wrote the other day. I have no idea why it’s taking so long but I can tell you that it’s going in the review.
I passed the halfway point of my second graphic novel two days ago so I hope I can come to a conclusion sooner than I think. See my dilemma is that I was planning on three graphic novels in the series but now I wonder if I should just go with two to keep from this one having a weak ending. There’s already some stuff I want in the third book but I would put it in the second if I decided to go with 2.
I’m also sitting on a load of poetry I’ve written that I feel like I need to publish. But that has its own set of problems.
